Climate is often confused with weather however there is a key difference between weather and climate.
Weather is the instantaneous state of the atmosphere and the world around us. It is mainly limited to short term variations over a period of minutes or days on temperature, precipitation, humidity, air pressure, cloudiness, radiation, wind, and visibility etc.
Climate is the statistics of weather over a long period of time such as the “average of weather” over a period of time.
Climate is what we expect. Weather is what you get.
